If you spend enough time reading astrology content online, the 1st house is usually introduced as the house of personality.

Sometimes it is described as the house of identity, the house of appearance, or simply “the rising sign house.” While these ideas contain elements of truth, the way the 1st house is commonly explained tends to reduce it to a single psychological concept.
